When I'm not attached to my camera you can find me with my husband attending either a football, basketball, or volleyball game of one of our three active kiddos. Beyond that, I love hiking, camping, and exploring all of Colorado with my family. I also enjoy a quiet evening at home around the bonfire with my yellow lab, Mac right by my side.
I speak fluent enneagram and will have a conversation about it any day!
I'm a 2 wing 1 and so, serving my clients and bringing them joy completely fills my cup.

I
I later moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan to attend college and is where I met my husband. I began photographing friends and family just for fun and, before I knew it, they were begging me to start a biz and my hobby quickly turned into my career.
Though we'll always have a space in our hearts for West Michigan, we desired to be closer to my family who all moved out to Colorado. In 2007 we moved to Colorado Springs and I officially launched my business.
I attribute all of my success to Jesus first and foremost, my supportive family and friends, encouraging industry friends, and to my incredible and loyal clients over the years.

My background story
am a midwestern girl at heart. I was born and raised in Iowa and lived off of fresh sweet corn, rhubarb desserts and Scotcheroos. It's also where my crazy bonfire obsession began. It taught me the value & importance of building community and connecting with the ones you love.

A Look into my
Life
These people are my world and the very reason I do what I do. They're my biggest support system and I wouldn't be where I am today without them cheering me on every step of the way. My kids are now 18, 15, and 10. They grew up in front of my camera. They maybe didn't always enjoy it, lol, but they've grown to appreciate the importance of capturing treasured moments frozen in time. It brings me SO much joy to do the same for others. That's our new little pup, Mac!
Family
When we can find the time, I love a good road trip with, well, my favorite people of course. One of our most favorite adventures took us to Lake Tahoe.
Where there is water there I will be. ;)
