I was beyond excited and honored when my friend Erin asked me to photograph her maternity and newborn sessions. She’s a photographer in Denver (Erin Lassahn Photography) so it’s always more flattering (and slightly nerve-wracking) when someone with an equal passion for photography wants ME to capture their precious, fleeting moments. Erin and her husband Stefan are expecting TWIN BOYS this summer! Although she may not believe it, she really wears pregnancy well! She almost makes me wish I was pregnant again!
After a game of “Looks like thunder clouds. Should we reschedule? Now it’s sunny, lets stick with the plan. Wait no, nevermind, it’s raining and cloudy again.” we finally drove to a location between the two of us. It was beautiful and sunny…until the clouds rolled in right.when.our.session.was.about.to.begin! We made the best of it despite our hopes for backlit photos during “the golden hour”. I love how they turned out and am looking forward to meeting and photographing their precious newborn boys soon.
