Throughout parenthood, a good playground is quickly going to become your best friend. This is going to be your destination anytime you need to break out of the house and let your child release all that energy. And trust me, that’s going to happen a lot. If you are looking for your new favorite location, I’m here to give you some options! As a Colorado Springs family photographer, I love working with parents to create memories all year long. Here are the playgrounds in Colorado Springs, I think you are going to love!
126 Cimino Dr, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80903
America the Beautiful Park is one of the most unique locations in town! This gorgeous location has a playground filled with equipment that kids of all ages will love. The splash pad near the art installation also makes this a great destination during those hotter months!
1605 E Pikes Peak Ave, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910
Colorado Springs has a few Universally Accessible Playgrounds around the city outfitted with gear ideal for kids of all ages and abilities. Over in Memorial Park, you can check out the Swing High Playground, where you can find accessible activity panels and pathways, harness swings with back supports, and rubber surfacing.

3555 Briargate Pkwy, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80920
John Venezia Park has the other Universally Accessible Playground in town, over at The Corral. This Colorado Springs spot gives you a ranch-themed playground designed for kids ages 2-12. Your child can play on accessible swings and slides while exploring across rubber surfacing.
7040 Rangewood Dr, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80923
If you want a destination that doesn’t get too crowded, check out Cottonwood Creek Park. This spot gives you everything you could need, including sports courts and walking paths that give you some of the best views in town! The playground is perfect for kids up to the age of 12.

2615 Logan Ave, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80907
Nancy Lewis Park is a location ideal for every member of the family! This neighborhood park is quiet and serene, giving you mountain views alongside a picturesque pond. The playground itself is large and modern, with equipment ideal for Colorado Springs kids ages 2-12.
115 E. Platte Ave, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80903
Nestled on 3.5 acres, Acacia Park is one of my favorite recommendations for curious kids! Here, the playground is built into the surrounding nature with slopes and slides just waiting to be explored! Once the weather heats up, they turn on the Uncle Wilbur Fountain, a beloved water feature that arises every 15 minutes to keep your family cool.
If you have been looking for your family’s new favorite destination, I just know you are going to adore these playgrounds in Colorado Springs. With all of these spots, your child can have the best day ever!
