Katie and Isaiah traveled from the midwest for their engagement session and we only had one day and time to work with. Like true Colorado style, the weather turned on us with pouring rain RIGHT at the exact moment their session was to begin. We improvised by driving a couple miles south where we saw a ray of sunshine. Worked out perfectly as we got to capture the urban beauty of Old Colorado City. As we wrapped up, we headed back to our original location at Garden of the Gods where the rain had stopped long enough to capture some picturesque images with a mountain backdrop. Looking forward to photographing their wedding at Spruce Mountain Ranch this summer!
