As big box baby stores began going out of business with the rise of online shopping, she set out to give customers an in-store shopping experience that still felt personal and allowed customers to interact with the products they were buying. Cece & Rose is an absolutely darling boutique that carries reputable brands like Mud Pie clothing, as well as their own growing private label of products. Mountain Cub Children’s Shop is a hip, stylish shop for little ones newborn through 6 years old. Owner Stephanie felt inspired to open Mountain Cub after having her own son, Bear, and finding it difficult to find cool, modern clothes that also fit their chic Colorado lifestyle. They needed clothing that could accommodate outdoor activities but also look stylish when out visiting local breweries or nice restaurants.
Thus, Mountain Cub was born! What makes it truly unique is that it is an online and mobile shop! Rather than having a brick-and-mortar storefront, Mountain Cub’s home is a charming vintage camper-turned-boutique that travels around to local markets, festivals, and bazaars.
