Bear Creek Regional Park

Bear Creek Regional Park has 545 acres of outdoor gathering space with plenty of opportunities to get active! Take advantage of picnic pavilions, tennis courts, an archery range, playgrounds, playing fields, and so much more. It’s also home to ten miles of multi-purpose, non-motorized trails that wind throughout the park, perfect for a family-friendly hike!

Paint Mines Trail

Paint Mines trail is a 3.4-mile loop that is considered to be an easy hike. Set amidst an open field and some winding rock formations, it’s a sunny trail with minimal shade. It’s a popular area for activities like hiking, birding, and running, so you’ll most likely see others while you’re hiking. While it’s a kid-friendly path, no dogs are allowed, so leave your fur babies home for this one!

Pulpit Rock Park Loop

Pulpit Rock Park Loop is a beautiful 5.2-mile trail near Colorado Springs that is great for a moderate challenge. Set aside a little over 2 hours to take in the beautiful sights. The trail is open year-round, and you’ll have gorgeous views whenever you visit! With beautiful views of the Rockies, stick to the perimeter trails for an easy walk. It’s also recommended to hike with a map, as parts of the trail are under construction and can get a little confusing.

Siamese Twins Loop Trail

Siamese Twins Loop Trail is a short hike, though it’s considered to be a moderately challenging route. Plus, leashed dogs are allowed, so you can bring the whole family out to the trails for the day!
