The red rock sandstone formations called Garden of the Gods have long been known for their natural beauty. In centuries past, Native Americans used this site as a crossroads for numerous nomadic tribes to gather in peace. The immense sandstone formations were considered sacred, and rival tribes put their weapons aside when entering this revered space.
